About Jackie Bolen

jackie-bolen

Hey there, thanks for stopping by. I’m a Canadian who lived the expat life in South Korea for 10 years, experiencing weird and wonderful things on an almost weekly basis. I became thoroughly addicted to kimchi during my time there and now can’t imagine a life without it.

I worked as a lecturer at a university teaching just about everything related to English. Some of my favourite classes to teach included: presentations and public speaking, academic writing, test preparation, interview preparation and business English. But, I’ve taught just about everything ranging from the ABC’s to advanced TOEFL preparation.

I moved to Canada in February 2016 and now live in Port Coquitlam, BC (a suburb of Vancouver). If you have any projects that you think we could work on together (guest posts, books, content writing, etc.), please contact me at: [email protected]. I also do some work in Vancouver’s booming movie industry to change things up a little bit.
